Delete your Traf account

Traf is made by CMF Ventures Limited. You can delete your Traf account and the data that goes with it at any time, with or without the app.

In the app

Open Traf, go to Profile, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account, then confirm. It happens straight away and cannot be undone.

Without the app

Email hello@gettraf.app from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my account". If you write from a different address, tell us your username so we can find the account; we may ask you to confirm from the address you signed up with before we delete anything. We delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner, and reply when it is done.

What is deleted

Your profile (name, username, email address, date of birth and country), your recordings and their measurements and scores, your portrait and the photo it was painted from, your comments, photos and stickers, your ratings and reactions, your challenges, your league memberships, your notifications and push token, and feed entries about you.

What is kept

• Frozen season results. Past season leaderboards keep the name you had at the time, because a past result that rewrites itself is not a result.
• The bare record of a report filed about you, closed and marked as relating to a deleted account. It holds no name, handle or content.
• The Ripter Scale. Scores and measurements already used to train it stay in the trained model as numbers; the rip itself and your link to it are deleted.
• Backups. Our database provider keeps daily backups for 7 days, so deleted data leaves the backups within a week.
