Traf Prize Rules

Last updated: 13 September 2026

These rules apply to any Traf league that plays for a prize. Leagues without a prize are unaffected.

Promoter

Cook My Fish Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, number 12100140, whose registered office is 79 Fawe Park Road, London, England, SW15 2EG. Contact: hello@gettraf.app.

No purchase necessary

Traf is free and entry to a prize league is free. There is no fee to enter, no payment of any kind is accepted, and nothing you can buy improves your chances.

Who can enter

You may enter if you are 18 or over, resident in the United Kingdom, and a member of a Traf league that has a prize attached to the current season.

Employees of the promoter, and anyone professionally connected with a prize or its administration, may not enter.

How the winner is decided

Each league season has one winner: the member whose best single submission of that season has the highest score, as shown on the league leaderboard when the season closes.

A submission's score is decided by other league members rating it. Where nobody has rated a submission, the acoustic model's score stands. If two members finish on the same best score, the higher season average wins; if those are also level, the greater number of submissions wins.

Only submissions to that league during that season count. Head-to-head challenge submissions do not.

The prize

The prize is a voucher or gift card issued by a third party, described on the league before the season closes. It is not cash and there is no cash alternative.

The issuer's own terms govern how the voucher may be used, including any expiry date. The promoter is not responsible for a voucher an issuer refuses to honour, but will replace it where it reasonably can.

One prize per league per season.

Claiming

The winner is notified in the app when the season closes and can reveal the voucher code there.

A prize not claimed within 30 days is forfeited and returns to the pool for a later season. The deadline is shown on the prize in the app. Where the voucher itself expires sooner than 30 days, the earlier date applies.

Fair play

Submissions must be genuine recordings made by the person submitting them. The promoter may disqualify any entrant, and withhold or reclaim a prize, where it reasonably believes a submission was faked, a recording was not the entrant's own, or ratings were manipulated.

The promoter's decision on any matter relating to a prize is final.

Your data

To award a prize the promoter uses your Traf account and league activity, which the privacy policy already describes. Nothing extra is collected to run a prize league, and no home address is ever required, because prizes are vouchers rather than physical items.

Winners' display names may be shown to other members of their league, which is how leaderboards already work.

Changes

The promoter may change these rules or withdraw a prize before a season closes where it is reasonably necessary to do so, and will say so in the app. Rules will not change for a season that has already closed.

Law

These rules are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.
